With the heat reaching 37+ it’s a great relief for me to be once again playing on a boat this evening. The Pukka Up crew have nailed the boat parties in San An with good deals for boat and club tickets at reasonable prices – check out their Tuesday deals for Carl Cox at Space later in the summer.
Lost inIbizaboats on Thursdays are for the ‘cooler’ kids and there are a lot of workers getting involved. Again it’s a sunset trip, there is a full Funktion One sound system on the boat (I know!) with everyone meeting at Itaca beforehand for some punch and pre party shenanigans…
Tonight is a little do at one of my favourite places in Ibiza– The Hostal Salinas. It’s a beautiful little boutique hotel in Salinas on the south coast of Ibiza. They will be hosting the Lo Cura Lounge every Friday with local dj’s performing alongside the occasional bigger name dj who stay at the hotel throughout the summer.
I’m really looking forward to a little showcase set that I am doing at Blue Marlin on Wednesday – this is a ‘high end’ restaurant / bar / club where to be honest I probably look like the help!! This is definitely where you see the ‘haves’ and the ‘have yachts’, the service, setting and sounds are what it’s all about here. I will fill you in on all the details next week…
Before I get on the boat I’m off to have a coffee at Ritas Canteen – fantastic snacks and smoothies too – it’s right on the port inSan Antonioand a bit of shade there really helps!
