Eric Bochet is an adventurous and self made man. Snowboarder, Artist, DJ and Manager of EXODUS CONSULTING his life revolves enigmatically around what he describes as ‘Alternatives, Art and Musical movements’. He joined Bench for it’s Self Made campaign launch in Manchester last month alongside graffiti don CART1. We took the opportunity to find out more about what makes Eric Bochet tick.
What are your passions?
Simple things: Music, Art, Food, Mountain sports, Surfing, trips around the world.
You describe yourself as Self Made. What do you mean by that?
Autodidact / Self-Educated stopping school at 14 years old.
Who are your inspirations?
Love & Sadness / Nature / People /The sky & space
It’s hard for young people to make their mark in the world today. What advice would you have or tips would you give to someone wanting to make a real difference?
I wish at first to every young person to build by himself. I recommend him(her) to refuse and to flee the assistantship, whether it is of the family or other order… Be curious, honourable, brave and tuned to listening the others. Develop your artistic sense, everybody has one of it… Flee the trends (tendencies) and forge you a good personality to you. Consider that sharing is the key word of the happiness!!! Important. And try to cultivate the simplicity! Here is it is of what I think sincerely, but I am nothing to give some piece of advice to whoever it is! I deliver simply my thought… Which is worth what it’s worth

What an incredible inspiration you are. Travelling the world spearheading a variety of communications agencies, including Exodus and Geneva’s prestigious FERT GROUP. What next?
Still learning and discovering new things, new people … And Resume painting. Above is one of the last paintings that I painted in 2007.
