Stone Roses fans will just love the latest exhibition at Whiteleys, Bayswater, London.
The Stone Roses: The Third Coming is a compilation of shots from three masters of rock’n'roll photography. Namely Kevin Cummins, Paul Slattery and Ian Tilton.
This collaboration was instigated by the reforming of the Roses in October 2011 and preludes with much awaited comeback this summer (One of the fastest selling tours of all time. Needless to say, those with tickets will be in for a real treat).
Kevin Cummins for example photographed everyone from the Sex Pistols to Morrissey and Patti Smith.
True to it’s subject matter, The Definitive Stone Roses exhibition is located in a gritty 90s vibe of a British heritage retailer. All in all, the exhibition (which ends August 13) it gives us all the chance to glimpse this iconic group as they were first hand.
For passionate fans, like Bench, it’s the perfect way to re-live the high energy, passion that The Stone Roses epitomised.
Unbelievable that it was 15 years ago!
Fancy buying something for the wall? Photos start at £600.
