What is the Bench Loyalty Card?

How do I make a purchase?

Browse the site and select the items you would like to purchase. When you have selected an item, choose your preferred size and colour and then ‘add to basket’. You can review your items in your shopping basket by selecting the ‘shopping basket’ link at the top right of the page. You can update your basket by adding and removing items. Our calculator will work out your subtotal, including shipping. Once you have finished, follow the checkout procedure.. For security reasons, your first order must be shipped to your billing address.

Do I need to register to place an order?

No, we have a Quick Checkout which allows you to place an order without registering.

How do I know which size to purchase?

Click on the size guide link within the product information pages.

What payment methods can I use online?

We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards and Delta and Maestro debit cards. We do not accept cheques, postal orders or cash. We are unable to accept cards that are due to expire within FIVE days of placing an order. Card details are checked and verified and goods are despatched once authorisation has been obtained.

What is my credit card security number?

Your credit card security number is the 3 digit number found on the reverse of your card on the far right of the signature strip.

When will I be charged?

Transactions on your card will be taken within 24hrs.

Can I buy store vouchers online?

Unfortunately we do not issue gift vouchers online however this is something we will introduce at a later date, if you sign up to our newsletters we will tell you when you can.

Can gift vouchers purchased in Bench stores be used online?

Vouchers can only be redeemed in Bench stores at present.

Why do high value orders take slightly longer to be processed?

High value orders take slightly longer as they need to pass through additional security and fraud checks.

How do I return an item?

We want you to be happy with your purchases. If you have a problem within 28 days of the despatch date and wish to return the item, just return it using the instructions on our returns information page. It is very important that any returned items are in the best (i.e. original) condition possible; you have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods, so please take care with them. Please retain original packaging and labels.

How do I exchange an item I have bought online?

Exchanges can be made within 28 days, please read our returns information pagefor more information.

Can I return goods to a Bench store?

Currently items cannot be refunded or exchanged in-store. Items for exchange or refund must be returned to the address above.

How do I receive my refund?

Refunds will be made to the card used for the original transaction, within 48 hours of receiving the items for refund. If your card has expired then refunds will be issued via a cheque to the billing account holder.

How long is standard delivery?

Standard delivery for UK (including Northern Ireland & Channel Islands) orders is 3-4 business days. Standard delivery for German orders is 3-4 business days. If you have ordered several products at one time we may deliver such products on different days at no extra shipping cost to you.

How long is express delivery?

Express delivery for UK (including Northern Island & Channel Isle) orders os 1-2 business days. If you have ordered several products at one time we may deliver such products at no extra shipping cost to you.

How are items delivered?

All orders are despatched for delivery via our shipping partner DPD. A signature will be required upon receipt of the goods.

Do I pay a delivery charge for each item delivered?

One delivery charge will cover the whole delivery, regardless of number of items purchased. UK delivery is currently charged at £3.99. Express delivery for UK is currently charged at £6.00.

Can I nominate a day or time for delivery?

At this time we are unable to offer a nominated delivery service. If you are unable to receive delivery at your billing address you may arrange for your order to be delivered to an alternative address following your first order.

Do you offer Saturday delivery?

At present we do not offer a Saturday delivery service, we deliver Monday to Friday.

How can I track my parcel?

You can track your parcel by logging into your account page and checking on your order status.

Is a signature required for my parcel upon delivery?

Yes a signature will be required as proof of delivery for all orders. If the order cannot be delivered, i.e. you are not available to sign for the goods, a Bench Courier will try to re-deliver the goods a further two times. If a signature is not received after three attempts the goods will be left with a neighbour.
