Berlin is the city where you can dress however you want without getting stared at, it is very laid back and you wear sneakers a lot - if not always! This is at least the image the city has, talking about style.
Most celebrated is this style in Neukölln and Kreuzberg, the areas of Berlin that are highly desired by so many! However, there are certain "dress codes" existing - or starting to dominate this city... For example: You come across lots of people who came into the city for the reason of "Party" and who are wearing the all-black kind of style – but still very comfortable and sporty. Short: casual street style is Berlin's second name!
Some of our favorite spots happen to be the hotspots of the city. Most likely you will see us in our home-Kiez Neukölln, but we of course also go to Mitte and to other parts of the city for a change! Oranienstrasse is one of Kreuzberg's "main" streets with lots of nice restaurants, bars, coffee places and clubs - we go there to meet up with friends, to have dinner or to just have a coffee at Bateau Ivre .
Another hotspot of the city is Hackescher Markt (Mitte), which is great for shopping. Berlin Mitte is a lot different from Kreuzberg and Neukölln, style-wise: People dress more "sophisticated", there are less graffitis, less punks – you know where we are going with this... Same goes to the atmosphere and the look of this area, everything is a bit cleaner, which makes a great location for our shootings when we are looking for more sleek and fashionable content.
After an afternoon in Mitte we normally end up at Dolores where they have the best Nachos in Berlin.
